  1. Just prepare now using her wisdom. They almost never had meat. That was their deprivation. They ate pasta, canned peas and what they grew in the garden, They bought olive oil and Romano cheese. They probably had chickens, but maybe not, as they lived in town . Made bread. They lived on coffee, eggs, bread, veggies, and pasta, some beans and potatoes. They put the same clothes on the next day, after washing them. No closet full of shoes and clothes. Exactly enough food to survive. But it was whole food and clean food. People who weren't rural couldn't raise pigs or chickens. So, ask them now if they would prefer being vegetarian! Hah! Meatless means poverty — don't let anybody gaslight you into believing you are helping anything or anyone, including yourself, by eating no meat!

Hard times ahead indeed. The government or the military is not coming to save you people! We must prepare and save ourselves and our neighbors. Many thanks Clara. RIP and joy.

6 or 7 large packs of wheat and ghee from the people who kept dairy cows. vegetables use to come from small farmers just outside the city.

I always asked my grandma why they did not left to United states they were financially ok.
