  1. How many thumbs down does this video have? Possibly more than likes? Is the knee a smaller or bigger target than the head? Both alive and dead people can still crawl with a busted knee but not so much with no noggin!

  2. Why don't you advise adding charcoal into the water filtration bag? It greatly increases filtering quality and is pretty easy to make/find.

Headshots are actually not that tricky to pull off. At least close up. If you are dealing with sprinters, letting zombies closer might not be a good idea, but for shamblers – better not waste Ammo on long shots and wait till you see the blacks of their eyes… While center mass shots… Even if you hit a bone, chances are you are not going to break it enough to hinder locomotion, or it might not be that critical for locomotion in the fist place. And that is not even mentioning "lawnsharks" that are produced by those "Headshots too hard" methods.

A tourniquet… In absence of proper hospitals might not be worth the effort. After you cut the blood flow with a tourniquet you need to surgically fix the damaged arterie, and resume the flow with an hour. Two tops. Failing this the limb will start getting tissue damage because the blood flow is missing. Just by itself tourniquet is not a life saver it is usually painted to be. It is merely a tool to buy some time to get the patio in front of a surgeon. No surgeons or no medevacs = tourniquet are useless. Gauze might be more useful. And if gazing the wound and applying pressure bandage is not enough, guess it is your time to go.

  3. Thanks for that I’m still heading out north to escape the zombies around but I think when I get there I will build the ultimate shelter I’m starting to run out on internet and wifi so this will be my only comment on this video… at least until the apocalypse ends. If it does…

  4. But one big thing – REALLY DON'T TRY TO IMPROVISE A TOURNIQUET! Only use a real one. Bad tourniquet do more damage than not using them. They found this in the aftermath of the Boston Bombings. Seriously don't

  5. Humans are weak because we weren't made to be strong. We were made to be smart, and because we r weak, we had to make tools and weapons to defend ourselves against everything, so that's how we r the best survivors because of our brains.

  6. I invested in a Katana blade and several types of firearms. I have a store of ammo but not a scary amount. It will clear my neighborhood fairly easily. I have a robust food pantry. I have gas generators. I have a large reading library. As 28 Days Later showed, be wary of heavily armed groups. They tend to think of you as a resource rather than as a ward to be protected.
