your first tip is a support system? Yeah most are homeless thanks to not having this Captain obvious. I would add with the backpack or whatever you have for your belongings, for cold weather, put the backpack on and then put your coat over it- can’t be seen so it can’t be stolen.
I strongly disagree with the "not stealing" things. Well it depends of course, but if I'm getting a meal from a billion dollar company the whole salt and pepper is coming with me. These companies and their greed (especially the greed) is what creates homeless in the first place…Large sums of capital end up hoarded by a few individuals hiding behind companies (these are the actual thieves) and you end up like in France, a country of 70.000 million people where half of the wealth is the hand of like 60 people. I'll always turn a blind eye if I see someone "stealing" food from big chains. And before people come at me with shitty arguments like whining about people losing their job because of you (which is bs), remember that these billions dollar companies will do massive lays off regardless of their profit. It is not unusual AT ALL to have massive lay offs even if the company is making record profit. (This is called "restructuration", fancy word for exploitation, and I majored in economics so I know what I'm talking about). Love the video tho great tips but you shouldn't be ashamed to steal from litteral psychopaths who are ruining land, air, people's welfare etc…Just so they can buy a new supercar or exploit another poor countries. Just don't steal from other individuals and mom and pops shops. But walmart or carrefour ? They can eat shit, you could work hard for them it doesn't matter their only preoccupation is next quarter's result

WE JUST LOST OUR APARTMENT AND NOW ARE HOMELESS. I'M SCARED, ME AND FOUR FAMILY MEMBERS'S HAVE ALWAYS HAD A ROOF OVER OUR HEADS. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO REALLY LIVE HOMELESS. I PUT MY STUFF IN STORAGE AND TRIED TO FIND A HOME SOMEWHERE TO RENT BUT NOTHING SO FAR. SO, ANY ADVICE WOULD BE HELPFUL. I AM 64 AND NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I EVER BEEN THIS WAY.

Some of the shelters let people shower and use the laundry even if not staying there. If you can afford it donate laundry detergent.

I wanted to buy a yurk a few years back but husband said no. I got sick from intravenous antibiotics really bad, out of work for a ywar now, he got hurt on the job and out of work for weeks. Now we are out of funds to survive. He started a new job today, but we are way behind on bills and Im praying we pull out of it. This homelessness is looking at us in our face. 😢 And the cost of living is so high, and going to go up. 😢 I thank God daily that he spoke to me and told me to start prepping 7 years ago whwn we were doing well. If I hadnt done this, we would not have anything to get by with. Did lots of canning with meats, potatoes, fresh veggies, soups, ect. 🙏
People think they might never be in a survival situation. Look at Ukrain, it was beautiful touristic european country. Now it's completely destroyed.

To add to finding food;
Avoid dumpsters behind restaurants because they tend to just throw all the waste in there and it's a real mess. Go more for store dumpsters because that's where you'll find bruised produce and recently expired shelf items still in the packaging.
Haha…the pets, the Veterans homeless program couldn't help me because I wouldn't give my dog over to a shelter. I never got any help in the end. Makes me wonder where money is really going 😢
I currently live in an old camper,but I have been houseless before.alas,I can't afford a truck to pull it yet,but I'm trying to save as much as I can in this economy
excellent video. People that live in vehicles are technically not homeless though some may be pretty close. Also it is good to avoid gun free zones due to the increased risk of danger.
2008 i was sitting on the world that all changed in one election night …5 month later i was walking 5 miles one way to work for 12 bucks a hours living in a tent behind a lowes in nj .took 5 years to get out of that dam tent
if you become homeless find a wooded are away from eyes ,have a stream near by build a shelter that cant be seen, ,use old home insultion or factory insulation foam, ,use a old fallen tree as big as possible and dig a trench right against it ,,fill trench 1ft deep by 7ft long with leaves blackets and tarp from a lorry ,make rocket stoves and heat up rocks to put in shelter ,3 pairs of socks and 2 sets of boots if possible ,cover tree and wrap under the trench ,build log and stone walls at the ends and some at the front ,cover with moss dirt brambles grass ,hang rugs ,blackets inside and a ducking pipe away fromshelter into shelter it works done it for 18mnths 2 very wet and cold winters was kept dry warm and safe
I have an associate degree and I'm homeless I work and I'm homeless I currently go to work and after I walk across the street to sleep at the TA right now the truck stop has been a blessing for me
If you really knew about the homeless, a lot of it are men who are victims of divorce law, are you sure you’re educated about the homeless which is 80% men
Always keep a gun and a couple clips of ammo if possible, at least a decent pocket knife.
