  1. I lived outside for 3 years they tried to come down with 12 people one old guy with a shotgun and I stood my ground the Chinese people own the land and they said I can stay there the highway department kick them off their land I have squatters rights then about a week later a whole big family came down there one old guy with a shotgun and told me to leave and I told them to fuck off I ended up staying there for 3 and 1/2 years building my own little Shack now I'm in the house for the last 2 years

  2. I have sympathy for people down on their luck, but I don't have much sympathy left for drunkards, drug addicts, and lazy people. I think people should be helped, but those that just want to revel in their cycle of drug abuse need to get taken off the street. I don't care if that is "mean". If someone wants to work, they should be given a pair of work boots and given a job. If someone wants to drink whiskey all day and shoot heroin all night, it's time for you to go to a camp and get away from regular people.

  3. Nimby:-a person who objects to the siting of something perceived as unpleasant or hazardous in the area where they live, especially while raising no such objections to similar developments elsewhere.
These are people saying we need to accept all the immigrants and build shelters to solve the homeless crisis, but you only in your city, my city doesnt have a bad homeless problem so we dont need that here, but you, you need to help pay for it other there😂😂😂

  4. I live in a city that get over run by homeless in the summer and then they move one when winter get here ( Eastern WA). My neighborhood is over run with people living out of their cars and RV's. We dont normally have issues with them but they jesus christ do are they magnets for trash and drama.

  5. Good because I wouldn't let you set up camp in my backyard cuz the last time that happened it was a bunch of homeless people doing drugs where my children play and then they would leave their drug paraphernalia lying all around the tents with alcohol bottles and cans and I'm not letting that happen in the park literally behind my backyard so sorry you're homeless but I'm not letting that happen

  6. If you are on public property and in general out of sight (by out of sight I mean not in open like like in a park) IDC. But if you are on my "lawn" (any bit of my property) then yeah get the fuck off.
A few years back there was a guy living in the woods on my families farm. My cousins that live there now saw a man walking through one of the distant fields the woods surround, it was reported later that day and the sheriff had been looking for a man responsible for numerous break ins and thefts. They found his tent and caught him out the farm's land. Homeless dude had been moving around the farm land and robbing the houses. Luckly he never struck my cousin's house, probably because of the one not always nice dog they had that happened to be a pit mix rescue.

  7. I was homles from age 11 to mid 20s…we never setup tentsor made camps…we knew that staying invisable at night kept the heat off us…and we survived just fine..a thin tent isnt keepi g u alive

  8. Dude, perhaps you are harmless. But not all who "camp" near homes are. Speaking from horrible experience, I will never allow "campers" near my home. This is a part of your chosen existence with which you must deal. Move along now.

  9. As a property manager, all I ask is to not make my job harder. I don't care if you're looking for cans and bottles, or food, or a place to sleep overnight. Just clean up after yourself. And there is a definite difference between a homeless person, and an addict. I don't tolerate addicts at all.

  10. We’re going through this in Elmira, NY and they’re trying to find people for “camping in the city.” The experience of being homeless led me to getting sober and finding Jesus a little over 5 1/2 years ago, and it was the NIMBY people who had kept me from ever accepting any of that, because of how shitty they treated everyone. Once I realized that was just a shotty person trying to stand behind a righteous cause, it all made sense, but saying F U to the NIMBY people helped me get houses, get sober, and get saved. I pray the same for you brother!

  11. Ohhh by AALLLLL MEANNSSSS, make yourself right at home rent free on the property that I work hard to pay for and maintain. That’s absolutely insane to think it’s ok to trespass onto property and set up shop on land that someone else has spent their hard earned time and money to make their own. Thats exactly why the signage posted very clearly states “NO TRESPASSING, violators WILL be shot”

  12. You wanna be homeless? then go out in the middle of the forest and survive there. build a city for homeless yourself. Stop stealing, doing drugs, leaving trash, and stinking up the city. Build something yourself, for yourself.

  13. Well this is the same prejudice that ‘Travelers’ face in the UK- and for good reason-

Mess and harassment and thievery make you all undesirable in any neighborhood, even though not all the unhomed are necessarily this way.

Is a terrible problem from both sides.

  14. I have lived on a large piece of property for 10 years. We never had any crime or theft issues until a homeless encampment (about 12 people) decided to set up just off my property about 100 yds into another property which was a hunting camp. Things came up missing. 2 were arrested at the encampment. Some of our stuff was returned but not all. I have chased a few off my property since. There are signs and warnings everywhere! IT IS A PROBLEM. I'm definitely not the only person who has had issues almost identical to this or much worse. I had a guy walk right into my line of fire while hunting at dawn. It's ridiculous. Don't act like it's not a problem

  15. This system only works if the middle class keeps on spitting on the lower class and don't even risk asking why they are fighting over peanuts while their idols take daily trips with their private jet financed by clicks, scams and not paying taxes.

  16. It is actually rare for a NIMBY to come around and harass homeless, they may stand in protest called the cops and write letters but they will not physically confront.

After all you have to be careful with dealing with the mentally ill and drug addicted because they are unpredictable.

  17. I lived beside an encampment. It stinks, there's trash everywhere, and tweakers trying to tie their arms in knots or bite their own ears off. Couldn't leave nothing outside because it would get stolen. They beg for money try and buy them food they don't want the food they want the money. Bottom line 90% are homeless drug addicts by choice and they don't want help.

  18. Those people are fine. Issue is drugs and other illegal activity. U look like u have been homeless for a day and u think like it to. The only people who make this bs content about homelessness are the new age been homeless for a day lame Os
