You start shivering way before you get hypothermia
I live in Canada and I keep candles and a wool blanket in my car at all times in case I get stranded in the winter. It's an old timers trick to stay warm. Basically you drape the wool blanket over you and light a candle. You would be amazed at how fast a candle will warm you up inside the wool blanket. Of course I keep modern survival equipment too but the candle and wool blanket are a good back up.

You must know a lot about cold being from Canada. Just a suggestion, you should make videos about how well trailers, vans, and small RVs are able to protect you from the cold. I am very interested in this situation. Probably not the only one interested in this, as I will retire soon and want to tour many places including the far North. I suggest a video title "Can your trailer or RV handle a very cold environment"? or something to that effect. Good video. How? Maybe rent one and check the temperatures inside for everyone or ask others what they experienced. I am a surfer. I know hypothermia. I remember once I could barely put in a car key and turn it. Nothing, however, compared full body hypothermia. Good man warning people. 😶

Your body makes enough heat, you just need the right gear to retain it. I have a TETON Sports Celsius XL Sleeping Bag that is rated to -25F. I get the XL so I can put my regular flannel sleeping bag inside it when needed. If for some reason you are in -60F, you can put a space blanket between the 2 sleeping bags to retain more heat. Don't sleep with the space blanket on you, you will sweat and then freeze when you come out.

Grew up in Alaska. I think -20 F was the limit I was in. Women and children’s clothes were inadequate for survival. Thawing out is sooo painful! Fingers, toes and feet!

I need help with this. Did he just make a cut to explain the odd instances of people undressing in freezing conditions, suggesting it's because their brains have tricked them into thinking they're freezing?
Maybe you should try WINGLEOV heated work gloves, which are wear-resistant, waterproof and heated, and are designed for winter work.
