i work nights until 11pm usually and often coworkers will go out for drinks after. I used to go out 3 days a week to the bar with them and order a minimum of 2 drinks. Noticed I was slowly slipping into addiction when i got prescribed antibiotics and couldn’t drink for the week. So i started replacing some of those nights with going to the gym. While i love spending time with my coworkers, im feeling so much more fulfilled “sacrificing” that time and putting a real focus on my health and longevity. I only go out about once a week with them these days and it’s the perfect balance bc the results of the gym are unmatched 😮💨 and i don’t feel like a piece of shit for spending all my money on alcohol!
Two things I find confusing. Firstly, the 5×5 Squat Is it supposed to be ramped up or static with weight? Secondly, at 6:10 you say 3×8 bench press. At 8:18 it says 5×5. So which one should I choose here?
Remember to do these all with correct form otherwise you can hurt your back or bones and stunt your growth.

As someone who is new to this, from my understanding Bent Rows and Inverted Rows are extremely similar exercises, is there a reason you included both in the workout?

I know this is two years old so no one will see this, but that bit at the end was genius with Katie taking a bite and Will looking like he just witnessed a murder. I used to try to measure everything. It was a time consuming hobby. But when you're cooking for yourself vs cooking for you and your kid(s), you simply can't do it without adding a huge amount of extra work or stress. I learned a lot when i was measuring, but I can basically eyeball what i'm eating throughout the day and know what I'm doing. Slight variations take care of themselves throughout a week.
