  1. i work nights until 11pm usually and often coworkers will go out for drinks after. I used to go out 3 days a week to the bar with them and order a minimum of 2 drinks. Noticed I was slowly slipping into addiction when i got prescribed antibiotics and couldn’t drink for the week. So i started replacing some of those nights with going to the gym. While i love spending time with my coworkers, im feeling so much more fulfilled “sacrificing” that time and putting a real focus on my health and longevity. I only go out about once a week with them these days and it’s the perfect balance bc the results of the gym are unmatched 😮‍💨 and i don’t feel like a piece of shit for spending all my money on alcohol!

  3. I know this is two years old so no one will see this, but that bit at the end was genius with Katie taking a bite and Will looking like he just witnessed a murder. I used to try to measure everything. It was a time consuming hobby. But when you're cooking for yourself vs cooking for you and your kid(s), you simply can't do it without adding a huge amount of extra work or stress. I learned a lot when i was measuring, but I can basically eyeball what i'm eating throughout the day and know what I'm doing. Slight variations take care of themselves throughout a week.
