No I don’t think it’s cheating to use a seed with a fully built ender portal. If you want to take the time to find the seed then by all means do it. It’s part of the game and if it’s not supposed to be they need to make a change
for someone who has to work irl a lot and has very little time to play (AND has never beat the ender dragon and desperately wants to) i just started a world with a stronghold at spawn because otherwise there is a high chance i'll never get to it otherwise. it only has 1 eye, so i still have to fill it out, but usually the distance from my spawn base is enough to burn me out trying to even reach the damn thing. now i can focus on all the other prep and maybe actually have a chance to face the dragon this time around.
i also have a terrible habit of deleting worlds when the game updates – this seed is SO perfect for me i'm determined to keep it for years if i can. wish me luck!
