Paracord shoe laces of 550 survivor cord is even better. All my boot are laced with them. Pull out seven strandsplus, fishing line, fire cord and even thread. The empty cord sheath can be used as shoelaces again.
You can also scrape your clothes especially jeans, will create lint.
Why not leave the head of the zipper to use and just use the tab to form a hook?

Fyi, the needle trick doesn’t need a magnet to work. You can rub the needle on a piece of fine cloth, eg silk, to galvanize the needle via static electricity.

3. heated rock to dry wet shoes
4. key as saw for wood
5. cotton/wool shoes as tinder
6. pine tree oil as bug repellent or burn it

8. 550 paracord for shoe string lace
9. Candle to transfer flame
10. Backpack soft foam padding as ftinder
11. Bottle water to focus sunlight
12. Plastic bottle can boil water
13. Water filter with bottle (toxic) short term

15. Keep charcoal
16. Make stove from cans

You can use the charcoal from your campfire to make a charcoal filter no need for moss and grass lol. Charcoal is what most water filters have in them. Just takes longer to drain. The finer the pack the more contaminants it will remove

Also if you need water you can place a plastic bag over leafes it will get you a few drops but enough for survival

During a winter time if you need a fire;
Find ice from a river or lake, or any mountain caves, use it like a magnefying glass to start the fire using the sun.
If it is like end of the winter, the lakes are starting to melt a little, you might be able to brake some ice just by standing on it.
The rock idea is a good way to ruin your boots by melting the glue that holds the sole on . Don't do it , it's too hard to control .
