The lighter is easy but you just take off the guard. And lift up the red button. And bam fluid comes out and it's better then doing what you get did without destroying the lighter at one go.

Always carry 2-3 lighters on you.

Insect repellent: it grows just about everywhere and that's Dog Fennel, however just like mint it doesn't last like bug juice.
Sharpening a knife: I usually have a small sharpening stone with me, however I also carry a 6×2 inch piece of Emory cloth in my wallet which is handy for a lot of things but also is serves as a great knife sharpener and it's stiff enough to be used as a handy splint for injured fingers.
I solved the new 550 boot lace slippage buy using toggles instead of tying , simply thread both laces through a toggle ( like the type used for cinching the inner sack of a ruck shut) then pull your laces tight and slide the toggle and release the the button, I then wrap the excess around my calf and tuck it into my boot (I wear mostly combat boots ) and now you're ready to go, this method saved me time when getting ready in a hurry in Afghanistan.
When it comes to TP makes sure it's not poison ivy. 😂😂😂
Over under cable wrapping is way better
The freckle kid made me laugh 😂
I thought the whole bushcraft bs blew out like in 2020 or so, but this one is new. It even mentions paracord, which is so 2012 thing to say. Feels nostalgic.

If you don't get cell service then you can change your voice mail to give your location to those trying to call you.
Try using that hatchet,…or that axe to be honest, to split some sycamore.
Point is, the wood you're trying to split has a lot to do with its ease in splitting. Some red oak? Good luck – doable but not worth the effort unless you just have to.
Dried out maple or poplar? Easy mode.
Not saying you said or did anything wrong, just that people should make a mental note when deciding what kind of wood to go after if they have the luxury of options.
But if you're at home – grab that splittin' maul and let the axe rest on the wall.
Balled that piece of tinfoil also helps sharpen your knife.
I predict it will take a lot of effort to make this video, keep up the spirit 👍
This little ole' lady from Maine, the wildest part of Maine, thought she had seen it all.
This is the best tips I have ever seen.
Most get all carried away with elaborate crap.
